What a wild ride this has already been

A lot has happened since the last update. The two biggest things are the dates for the convention was announced and panel submissions were opened.

Anime Lockdown 2020 will be held May 1-3 on our Twitch channel. The current plan is for Friday and Saturday to run from 11:00am-1:30am and for Sunday to run from 11:00am-5:00pm. This schedule will depends on how many panels are submitted.

But that shouldn’t be a problem because we’ve had a great response from panelists. We’ve received submissions from multiple states across America and even a handful from Ireland!

Some of things that have been submitted are history lessons on Shonen Jump and giant robots. A look at the business side of anime. A discussion on dating sims. Animator showcases. Spooky stories surrounding the Pokemon universe. And much more.

My biggest fear when I first announced this crazy idea was that no one would want to participate. Thankfully that has been proven wrong. The response from the anime community has been incredible.

The next few weeks are going to be a lot of work, but it’s going to be worth it.
